Playing Catch up (the remix)

So hi again!

I've had a long hiatus as you can see. Work and life have been busy and to be honest I haven't felt the zest to update this blog until now. I blame the Catholic guilt. Nevertheless this is a vow to you (and me) to keep up. So in my true fashion, I will give a brief summary of what I've been up to over the last two weeks in bullet point fashion Let's call this post playing catch up part 2 (please note that there is another post titled 'Playing Catch Up' in Dec 2009. This is part 2 of that or otherwise known as..the remix..:)

January
- Went with the I-phone AND the blackberry (I-phone for personal & bberry for work.) I-phone isn't toooo bad but I still can't sort out that touch pad thing.

February/March
-We moved into our flat!!! We love it and are official residents of Chiswick!
- Traveled to Panama for a friends's wedding. Absolutely amazing time. Words can't express how great it was. See pictures for reference.
-Went to a restaurant and found a strand of hair in my chicken pie. The waitress said it wasn't the fault of the restaurant b/c the hair was found in the pie therefore admitting they received it frozen from an unknown distributor. Gotta love Europe.
-A good friend came to visit and it was sooo nice to see her. We love hosting and having visitors.

April
- Traveled to Cornwall for my husband's marathon. He did great and is in the best shape of his life. I'm very proud of him and his tenacity.
-Met my very best friend in Cardiff. It was like a breathe of fresh air to see her. Good friends keep you grounded.
-I hiked and actually enjoyed it! Beautiful sights of the atlantic ocean.
-Attended the Cambridge & Oxford Boat Race. Fascinating.

May
-The weather is getting nicer and we are enjoying London. Although it's 'warm' it's still not sun dress weather. I hear that will never happen in London...sigh...
-Went to Hampton Court Palace. Home of Henry the 8th an Anne Bolyne. Felt very regal and secretly wishes my husband was a Duke.
-National election. Conservatives go into power. hmmmmmmm
